The ThinkReality VRX virtual reality headset from Lenovo will be available for purchase soon. This virtual reality headset is designed for enterprise users. The ThinkReality VRX headset is powered by the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 1 processor and it runs on Android 12.
ThinkReality VRX Virtual reality headset can work as a standalone device or it can be connected to computer either wired or via Bluetooth. The virtual reality headset is slimmer, lighter and more comfortable that other VR headsets in the market or proposed by other companies. The VR headset offers 6DoF experience with full-color high resolution pass-through features that can be used in various types of simulations.
The ThinkReality VRX headset comes with 12GB RAM, 128GB storage, while offerubg a resolution of 2280 x 2280 per eye and has a refresh rate of 70-90Hz. The VR headset comes with integrated speakers and a field view of 95n degrees. It also has dual microphones and a 3.5mm jack. The VR headset package contains 6DoF controllers, that supports hand tracking and has buttons on the headset. All of these features are supported by 6,900mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C.
The ThinkReality VRX headset has a venting system to dissipate heat away from the face and also features pancake lenses stacked on top of each other. Lenovo is supporting the enterprise virtual reality headset by offering XR solutions like ThinkReality XR services. The ThinkReality XR services includes a cloud platform which can used to deploy and manage all enterprise application on a global scale and it also provides end-to-end services that help with customer from strategy to delivery.
The ThinkReality VRX headset is part of Lenovo’s hardware protfolio of commercial XR solutions. Their protfolio includes ThinkReality A3 AR glasses that was launched at MWC 2023.
