Google’s latest flagship phone, the Pixel 8 Series is the most awaited flagship launch of the year. This will be a serious competitor to the Samsung and Apple flagship phones. The Pixel 8 and Pixel Pro 8 are supposed to release later this year with major upgrades of hardware, features and some AI camera features.
Pixel 8 Features – Summary
The latest leaks have indicated that the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will come with the next-gen Tensor G8 chipset, a fast UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM.
The overall design would be the same but the Pixel 8 will have a 6.32 inch display as compared to the current 6.17 inches. The charging speeds will be bumped up with the Pixel 8 supporting 24W of wired charging and the Pixel 8 Pro supporting upto 27W charging speeds.
Finally, the camera hardware and software is likely to get an upgrade. A new staggered HDR mode for all Pixel 8 phones along with the Samsung ISOCELL GN2 as the main senor. There will also be a thermometer senor in the Camera bar to allow users to take their body temperature.

The Pixel 8 release date is really just about rumors from different sources. There is no definite release date for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. As per tradition, Google tends to talk about their next flagship phone during their annual I/O conference in May and the announce the release date of the phone in October.
